International Working Conference on Stored Product Protection (IWCSPP) brings together scientists, consultants, extension workers and industry, involved in the safe storage of the world's durable food commodities such as grains, legumes, spices, dried fruits, herbs and animal feed; and non food products such as museum artefacts and wood.

From June 27 to July 2, 2010, Portugal will have the honour and pleasure to host the 10th IWCSPP. The conference will be held in Estoril just outside of Lisbon. The conference is organized under the auspices of Tropical Research Institute of Portugal (IICT) and by the High Institute of Agronomy (ISA)/Technical University of Lisbon.

The objectives of the conference are:

• To exchange information from a wide range of agricultural and economic scenarios, ranging from small farms to large commercial bulk storage, from the tropical to temperate climates.
   
• To present innovative solutions to storage problems that are effective, inexpensive and environmental friendly.
